    Shelly Baxter

    Atascadero, California

I'm married to the love of my life and we have an adorable puppy. My kids are grown, one serving in the USAF and the other in college. I love to geocache and is probably the only reason you would find me on a trail. I also like to do needlepoint and cook.

Kind of stinky and sad that the lake is dried up but nice easy walk to bring kids and dogs.

Great place to take your dog (on a leash).... beautiful walk and we even spotted some whales breaching.

Hiked this trail all alone today. Breathtaking views and if you geocache, like I do, there are 5 caches along this trail. I thought I'd completed the whole trail but from looking at this map, I only did the portion to the east of Pecho Road. Too bad they don't allow dogs.... I'd wished I could have taken my dog.
