Nice trail, needs a little more maintenance, but works for a lot in a pinch.

Pretty boring but good for passing time or talking to friends. Lots of fun critters to spot, just not my usual type of hike.

Fairly trafficked but well lit and somewhat enjoyable hiking trail. It's kid-friendly and conveniently accessible with decent parking. I liked to come here to walk away stress without feeling confined by a gym setting.

I'm not sure how mountain bikers or runners manage to get through this trail with all the broken rocks but as a casual hiker, I was happy to ascent, get my heart racing, my shoes bending and my mouth soaking. I am happy to have found a close by moderate loop to enjoy. There weren't too many people out and the views were great. So many nearby mountains and a generous 360 reward depending on where you find yourself on the mountain!

Beautiful!! Pretty difficult for night hiking but great sitting areas, shade, views and moderate inclines sure to give you an enjoyable and worthwhile day!

This trail is short and sweet and super rewarding. I wanted to spend the day in Sedona and ended up a little lost and to make up for time, I took this hike because it fit my schedule. It was easy but very nice around every bend! Perfect trail for its distance :)

The accessibility factor is a plus for a guaranteed family friendly hike for all but it's heavily trafficked and the church is so tiny, it's hard not to feel cramped during the whole trip. Of course Sedona is beautiful enough to make any hike worth whir and it's nice to say you've been to the actual church on the mountainside

It may seem nice to be able to hike in such a congested area close to campus but there's so many people just dolly-gagging around on the hike and it's paved to the point that you don't even feel that you're on a nature hike. It takes 10 minutes to get to the top and parking is harder than camelback mountain. The view isn't even that nice unless you go during sunset/sunrise. I won't be back.

Great views and amazing amount of shade if you go at a daunting time. It's a nice trail for working out because you can park at the bottom or at the top to diversify your journey.

This trail is as difficult as it is rewarding. Almost immediately upon ascending, you get a preview of the wondrous view the peak will promise you. The entire terrain is strenuous, but still doable. It's consistent steps up, up and away. No pets allowed, so it's all people struggling to get to the top. Once at the peak, there are many differentiated flat rocks to sit on and enjoy the 360 view. I intend on returning to have yet another fun day of climbing and cherishing this beautiful trail!

Cholla is a little too crowded for me, but as a hike, there is a challenge factor and a corresponding sense of achievement when peaking. Unfortunately, due to its popularity, many people bring children and dogs on this trail when it does get fairly difficult for the last quarter mile. There is almost no parking and there certainly isn't a park-feel to this trail. It's a rewarding hike with great views. I'll have to try the other side next time!
