Nice waterfalls, great view and nice rock climbing (top-roping options) at the end. My son and I actually camped on the edge of a cliff on Edwards Point, and it was amazing. Keep in mind, though, that it's ATV accessible, so you won't necessarily be alone, even at night after most hikers have gone home.

If you want to camp overnight, keep in mind the trailhead parking area says "no overnight parking". But I just called the local police at the number on the sign in the parking lot, and they were friendly and accommodating.

A great spot for camping on the beach (or in the dunes if it gets windy). Very isolated in the northern and middle parts, as I believe most visitors to this area come in via the road that forms the southern part of the trail. The few people we saw were agate (rock) hunting. Flat and not terribly interesting as a hike, but we were more interested in camping on the beach and letting the pup run around.

Just wanted to note that in addition to the Adventure Pass or Day Pass (which you can buy at any 7-11 on the way up to Big Bear), you can also use an America the Beautiful pass, which for $80/year covers you for all National Parks and federal lands (including National Forests).

I'll be doing this hike this week (and will come back to write a real review with a real rating), but just wanted to point this out since I just saw @Felipe's review and went to purchase an Adventure Pass before realizing I was already covered with my AtB pass. :)

This should really be called "Jeremy's Run + Knob Mountain Loop". Jeremy's run is a moderate but very nice hike with a ton of waterfalls (depending on your definition of a waterfall), but the Knob Mountain Trail is a pretty big climb, and as others have said the views are nice but obstructed... you never really come out of the trees. That said, we did see a black bear at the northernmost part of this loop, right where you meet the fire road (marked as "Knob Mountain Restricted Road" on the Topo map).

I'd do this again, but I'd only do Jeremy's Run as an out-and-back. And yeah... Steven Steinbacher is absolutely right about the ticks, too. Brutal (in early May, anyway).
