Scott Johnson reviewed Mounts Democrat, Cameron, Lincoln, and Bross Trail

Absolutely incredible. This will test you, but it is worth it.
We did the loop counterclockwise. Started late...I suggest sun rise.
We had cold, wind, snow, hail, sunshine, no wind, warmth, clouds, misty rain, and sun.
We had to skip Democrat due to rain and time of day running down.
In other words... be prepared and enjoy every minute. You don't know if you will ever be back here!

Scott Johnson reviewed Breckenridge Peak 8 Trail

If you ski Breckenridge, doing this trail in the summer is a must. (September 7) It is really cool to see the ski trails from a different perspective (warm, dry, green). The hardest part was figuring out how to get the car through the hidden road in the parking lot at the base of the hill. We drove 6 miles up before parking and walking the rest of the way.

Scott Johnson reviewed North Ten Mile Creek Trail

This trail alone was worth the trip. It was a great scenic hike on a gorgeous blue sky 70° day. So much easier on the body walking over soft forest floor than climbing hard rock 14ers yesterday. We went in 4.6 miles from the lot, where we lost the trail in a swampy meadow and turned back, total 9.5 miles. Turns out, the official trail ends at the intersection of the Gore trail. This is a great off the freeway stop for families too.
