Scott Fergel reviewed Signal Hill Trail

Short, easy hike but almost felt like I had to do it just to hit the highest elevation point in Arkansas. Was disappointed that there was no view from the top.

Nice trail that is close so if you are looking for a quick hike/bike ride/walk/etc. this is a good spot. It's a paved trail and does get busy. The trail was wide enough to accommodate everyone the day I was there (Tuesday).

This is a short trail but connects to a number of other trails such as the Crystal Bridges and North Bentonville trails hence giving you plenty of options. So if you are going to just do the Enfield Trail it may not be worth your time. I have never seen anyone else on Enfield when I have been on it.

First you should know the road up to the trail head is washed out so don't expect to get there with a car or anything with low clearance. We had actually rented a Ford 250 so had no issues other than a bit of a bumpy ride up. We did find the trail head just fine. I would suggest taking a GPS as though we were able to find the trail and stay on it there were certainly times where the trail was questionable and no markings to keep you on it. Some steep inclines/declines but not an overly difficult trail if you are in shape which if you are going to do an 11 mile hike I would like to think you should be. Saw several turtles along the way but that was it for wildlife. Was a little underwhelmed by the rockpile but that may have been more of my high expectations. It was a fun hike and I will definitely be back to do more trails in the area.

This is a nice, short but scenic trail that is perfect if you are looking for a quick walk. We saw deer and ducks during our walk There wasn't too much traffic on the trail. Trail was easy to follow. Would definitely come back.

Fun hike! Some difficult sections with some steep incline/declines so a great workout. Lots of loose rocks so be cautious on the ups and downs. We only encountered a couple others on the trail but we did this on a late Sunday afternoon.

Like others have said, there could be better markings for the trail. Didn't see anyone else out hiking so we had the trails to ourselves which is always nice. We did a couple offshoots from the trail which is nice to have several trail options when you are looking for more miles.

Short, relatively easy trail. We did this hike later in the afternoon and we were able to avoid the crowds. On the way out you are going down so coming back it is uphill. Had some good rain this week so the water was flowing good. A very scenic trail with various rock formations.

Great hike! With all the rain that fell this last week the falls were flowing good! The cave was very busy so didn't get to spend a lot of time in it. This is another popular hike in the area so be aware if you don't like crowds. There is a picnic shelter and bathrooms at the start which makes it nice if you are planning to do several hikes in the area.

This is a very popular hike so be prepared to share it. With the weather being nice there was a large crowd out which making finding parking a little tougher. The hike itself was an easy hike and well worth the views, one you definitely want to take.

Decided to stop and hike Moonshiner's on the way to hike some of the trails further in Devil's Den Park. Nice trail. Always find older man made structures interesting. We only ran into one other couple on the hike even though it was a nice weekend so that was nice. Was not disappointed at all by the hike and will be doing again.

Short trail but nice overlook to the hatchery. This trail does split off to the Fire Tower Trail so did them both.

Longer trail with a steep climb early on making you earn it. What goes up must go down so after the tower you get the decline and after that it levels out. Little bit of everything on this trail.

Nice overall hike. Bit of a steep climb early on. The trail does run parallel to the road for a stretch so the sound of the cars took away from feeling out in nature. Other trails in the area making it easy to do several while you are out there. Be prepared to fight for parking with people fishing if you go on the weekends during season.

Second time doing this trail this time early morning to get to the top to watch the sunrise. It’s a tough hike and definitely some challenging spots. Sections that are steep and have loose rocks.

Short, paved trail with not much to see. By itself nothing exciting but does allow you to connect to some dirt paths at Crystal Bridges that offer more to see.

This is a flat, out-and-back paved trail. It’s a well maintained path. This trail is connected to the Crystal Bridges Trail so if you are looking for extra miles it’s an easy add on. The trail can be busy at times, especially with bikers due to the numerous dirt trails in the area. There is a bike station on it for any bikers and bathroom facilities as well. Overall a good trail if you want to go running, walking or biking.

Nice, easy trail for walking/running/biking. One short section that depending on your fitness if you’re biking that might offer a challenge as its steep. This trail is typically busy due to its location by Crystal Bridges but is my go-to place when I just want to get outside and enjoy the day. You can continue on with the North Bentonville Trail if looking for additional mileage or connect to several dirt trails connecting to it, though watch for mountain bikers.

Scott Fergel reviewed Cooper Chapel Trail

Short walk on a paved path but the chapel made it worth it. There are also some painted rocks hidden along the path so adds some fun if you have younger kids.
