Wicked trail, The old nazi camp is pretty interesting as well. Plus there is great street art all over the place

Beautiful hike! One of my favorite hikes in the area. The fire roads link all the way to the Los Lionnes Palisades trail, which makes for an amazing day trek. Not too much shade though so watch out if it is a hot day.

Easily one of my favorite trails in the Malibu area. Amazing views, from the coast line, to Downtown LA to Catalina. The trail is pretty well kept and is surrounded by awesome foliage. If you feel like making it a bit more challenging, it makes for a great trail to run. You'll feel like you're running through Fern Gully at some points. And maybe I was just lucky but there was barely anyone on the trail (relatively speaking) when I went.

Great hike, not strenuous at all. Unfortunately a lot of people choose to have picnics up there and leave their trash scattered EVERYWHERE. I highly suggest the hike on a weekday if you can (and bring a small trash bag to help clean up what others have ignorantly left behind)

Such a beautiful hike. The mixture of scenery is amazing! The trail is well kept and is by no means grueling at any point. Lots of shade providing great areas for picnics and bear naps. Highly recommend for anyone

Such a great relaxing trail. Did this yesterday and couldn't have been happier with it. The trail is extremely well kept and easy to follow. Once you get to the Old Roberts house you can continue to follow the waterfalls and pools pretty far back, allowing for some fun adventuring and pseduo rock climbing. That coupled with great shade, serenity and an abundance of wildlife makes this a must hike if you are in the area. Just keep your eyes peeled for rattle snakes and man made bee hives.

Great trail, well maintained. A bit grueling at parts due to some uphill battles but nothing too intense. The views from the trail are amazing. I can honestly say the only other time I saw such a view of LA was from a plane. Would suggest doing it early morning or later in the afternoon. Also, if you'd like to just go to Mt. Lowe, there is a trail that takes you there from the road to Mt. Wilson. It cuts the hike down drastically and still gives you an opportunity to see the amazing views
