The Sok Sarom’s reviewed Manhattan: Central Park Trail

We were actually in Central Park this past Saturday (6.3.17) to participate in YAI's Central Park Challenge to support people with disabilities. It was a great day. The park is a substantial size to enjoy a walk and the inter city garden. Good environment for the young and old to walk, bike ride, visit zoo or do a bit of model boat sailing.

Gorgeous walk with spectacular views of the ocean! Beautiful scenic views and atmosphere. The walk is highly trafficked on a beautiful weekend afternoon. The trail is an easy walk to which you can enjoy leisurely the sounds of waves hitting rocks, to nicely manicured gardens and friendly gatherings.

The Sok Sarom’s reviewed Walking Tour of Monuments and Memorials

In the middle of July, dress light and put on your favorite walking shoes. The walk can be exhausting with so much historical sight seeing and crowd managing. It's a great educational walk in regards to wanting to see how our country's government began. The integration of metro city life with traditional architectural buildings and garden life makes for a full day.

The Sok Sarom’s reviewed South End of Lake George Tour

This self directed tour walk was quaint and pleasant. The Village of Lake George is serene and chilled. The walk itself is easy but enjoyable as there were nice community activities. We ended our walk in Shepard Park where there is a little playground area and a "mini" beach in which the kids could dabble at the sand.

A walk on the beach was easy enough. Fun for the kids since they were collecting every shell they laid their eyes on. The biggest challenge that day was the rough wind as it was still cold in early March. Chincoteague/ Assateague Islands has wild horses to boast as we had an opportunity to see them roam.
Did not get a chance to do their wildlife trail but will return back to do it!

The lake view was pleasant. Trail path was quaint and easy. The trail didn't have any major challenges. This trail is fun for little ones and dogs. We hiked along Elephant, Church and Mink trail which pretty much connects with each other. Did not get to hike the trails across the lake though. Rented cabin for the weekend. Beautiful in the fall.

This is a great garden that varies in your experience depending on what seasons, festive holidays or events you come to. Be ready to dress comfortable as the garden has plenty of areas to cover on foot. If you enjoy flowers and blooms of all kinds, this is an ideal place to spend the day. Be ready to pay for the price of admissions as this is not a free public garden/ park.

This historical walk is only good if you're a tourist, a Philadelphian that never stepped out of their zip code or just prefer the concrete jungle over the real beauty of mother nature.

Lincoln Trail is a quaint and scenic hike that hosts nature lovers of biking, running, dog walking, fishermen, bird watchers to just even a pleasant walk with a good conversational companion. It is a laid back trail for a nice morning walk either by yourself or as a family.

Great loop trail if you do both the Blue and White trail. Mt. Nittany has awesome top mountain views from different angles/ directions of the trails. This is one of my favorite trails as it is lengthy and provides different gradations of trail paths and challenges. It was super fun to take on with our two little girls (6 and 10 yrs. old). They were definitely, "Bawses!" Remember to pack protein power snacks and water for your little Bawses as both trails can take about 3 hours to complete.

The Sok Sarom’s reviewed Cobble Hill

In regards to distance walking, it was easy. The biggest challenge of this trail was climbing up Cobble Hill with 6 and 10 yr. old girls. The hill is steep and can be a dangerous fall. However, done with caution, it is fun and thrilling. The view up top is awesome and worth the climb.
