Great hike. Nothing too strenuous and great view. Lightly trafficked today. Short drive from Denver (50 mins). Little slick in some area. Will be doing this one again!

Nice short hike. Took about 2 hours to complete. Really close to Denver and tons of room for parking. Went at 12:30 on a Saturday in Nov and very minimal people which is a huge plus vs how some of the trails can be. My pup had a great time. I would say lower level of moderate. Ok views, but great tree coverage and nice little escape from the city.

I was amazed at the views. We've done some neat hikes out here and I was even blown away when we reached the top. Very easy hike. Almost not sure if I would call it a hike. Walk up a dirt road up to somewhat of a trail. Brought out of town visitors and didn't want to overwhelm them with a too strenuous of a hike. They did great and love the views at the top. There is a shooting range that you'll go past so that was a little noisy obviously, but not very active on a Saturday morning. Then at the top there a little fire station that is now rented out to people. So I would just advise not lingering there too long, but there are other boulder mounds you can climb up and see the best 360 view of the surrounding mountains. Just breath taking. We brought the pups with. They loved it. Saw under 10 people during the whole hike. Will be bringing more out of town family here.

Great Hike with beautiful views. Really neat to be able to see Longs Peak in from Chasm Lake. Some people were rock climbing so we got to have a show while taking a break for lunch. Also had outhouses up at the top of the trail which was pretty humorous and very convenient. Felt like we went through multiple climates, I was hot, cold, hot, cold so would recommend being properly layered. Saw lots of girls in shorts at the top and they were regretting it. Some boulders to climb at the end so be ready to haul a backpack up that or to leave at the bottom of the rocks as some people did. There were more people on the trail than I had anticipated, but it is Colorado in the summer. We got here at about 7:30 and the parking lot was full and the cars were starting to pile up along the road up to the parking lot. Plan on getting there early. Really scenic at the top! The workout of a hike was well worth it.

Parking is very limited. Had to drive around a bit to wait for someone to leave. Great views at the top. Brough some out of town visitors and they did well on the hike.

We loved this trail. Brought our two dogs (german shepherd and small mix) and they both did great. Was a pretty good workout and we were sweating, but it was well worth the view at the top. A couple boulders to climb the last part which took some coordination with the dogs, but they managed. Would highly recommend this one.

This was a a tough tough tough hike. I would recommend hiking poles. Elevation was definitely a factor and had a really hard time breathing. Two routes you are able to take up; straight and one curves to the right. I would suggest one that goes to the right if it is not snow covered. The parking lot fills up quickly so get there early. I only made it to Cupids Peak and my boyfriend and our german shepherd made it the rest of the way to Grizzly Peak. Well marked trail. He said he had to climb some boulders at the end to Grizzly. Lightly traffic.

Great for out of town visitors who are not used to hiking. My dad is 54 and my aunt is 60 and they both did fine on this trail.

Loved this hike. Offered great views of rock formations for the first part. At the end, you are surprised with a new view of mountain ranges in the distance. Less moderate than the majority of trails we have completed based on the All trails rating.

$7 Entrance fee to enter park. We often take out of state family who don't hike often on this trail because it is easy, but still offers some neat rock formations. They loved it! Saw some wildlife! The family was happy.

Super crowded, but we went on a Saturday morning so that is to be expected. Two routes you can take since it is roundtrip. One to the left is all stairs the whole way up. I think the route to the right would have been more enjoyable since it provided more switchbacks. Overall I don't think we'll hike this trail again. So many options in CO and this one just didn't stand out to us. But if you live in the area and are looking for a workout then this would be a great choice if you can avoid peak hiking times.
