Not much to see besides trees which it's fall so that's pretty, but watch out for horse manure

Part of ingleheart park. Few nice trails. Dog friendly. Baseball fields nearby so if near that season, more heavily trafficked. Otherwise not so much.

Nothing unique about the trail, but plenty of people were there. Great for dogs to get to swim and socialize since they also have a dog park

More for the biking folk. Had to pull my dog over numerous times to not get run over, but it's nice wooded trail.

Certain parts of trail make you question whether you're still on a marked trail or off-roading since they are bends of high rock slopes but they are trails. Pretty bridge over the river that many go kayaking on.

Off the main roads. Feels like you're stepping into a different world with all the greenery and waterfalls. Moss covered rocks and ferns all over. High rock formations with looping trails. My dog goes crazy over this trail as well. The bottom of the falls tends to be colder and more secluded.

Gorgeous. One of the prettiest sites in America. Rocks that people of all ages are climbing and for that matter, pets too! Trails for horses. Besides the main trail, there are lots of side trails with overlooks and complex rock formations.

The Cave-in-Rock is the main thing for the trail. The trails easy and allowed my dog some swim time while staring at the cave.

Pretty easy trail and can complete pretty quickly. Has some pretty streams that are all orange from not sure clay or slate.

One of my favorite trails in Indiana. Dog-friendly. My dog starts whining as soon as we turn in the entrance because he knows he gets to go swimming and some off-roading trails. Fire tower is accessible. Canoes/kayaks/paddle boats for rent at cheap rate. During the summer, it is jam packed! Also has concerts at the Lincoln Amphitheater during summer if you happen to be there around then.

I went during probably the ugliest time of the year. Wet and muddy and gloomy. Still had a pretty good time. They allow you to climb the fire tower and they have a four-way intersection bridge along the trails that was pretty neat.

Very short trail so not worth a special drive out of your way, but if you happen to be in Henderson, KY. During a portion, it does have a very steep stairway. Always have to catch my breath after it.

Close to where I'm living now. The back trails allow my dog some country-feel since we live in an apartment complex. Most of the trails seem rather muddy no matter what time of the year you go so wear shoes you don't love-love. The main drag though is grass and on an incline so no worries there but then again it's a short trail by itself. The angel mounds gated front part doesn't allow dogs so can't say how that is.

It seems more for the boat-lovers and campers than a hot-spot for hikers. When you get sick of Muncie inner-city living, it's nice for a break though.

Local park near me when I went to college. There are lots of streams running off that brought a trickling effect during my morning walk. Plenty of tree coverage with some educational signs about the Indian mounds and early history.
