Great hike! The trail down to the Narrows is definitely not for everyone but the view is worth it. Be very careful if the trail is wet (be very careful anyway. Be extra careful if it’s wet). The pink flagging does not appear to be there to mark the trail branching downwards off the Pulliam Creek trail but it’s very apparent—a packed clay path that has clearly been regularly used.

This is a great hike! I followed the directions on waterfallshiker and had little trouble finding the way. It's largely pretty easy, except for the last half mile or so. The trail is *quite* narrow and tricky right before the waterfall. We had a member of the party who has some balance issues and they took what could have been a pretty nasty fall without someone near to catch them, so be advised of that. The waterfall is so beautiful and the swimming is excellent, if you're inclined to.

This is a good trail that has enough up and down to get you sweating if you take it at a quick pace. There are some nice little cascades along the Natural Bridge section. When the trail meets the lake, the views are a bit spoiled by the excessive development on the other side, but once you get to the lookout point, it's absolutely beautiful. Like others, my tracking suggested it was more like 5-ish miles, rather than 4.4.

It's pretty long and after a certain point it feels like a never-ending ascent but it's worth the views. As of this date the spur trail to Mills Creek Falls is still closed, but there are a few small waterfalls along the trail, interesting more for their rocky structure than the volume of water. Mills Creek Pass and the Ridge trail are still heavily marked by the Pinnacle Mountain fire of last spring.

Jones Gap Falls is not a robust waterfall but it's very pretty and the hike along the Middle Saluda is worth it on its own. The trail is pretty rocky and can be quite wet(as in, streams across the trail) depending on the recent rainfall. You should go past Jones Gap Falls so you can see the nice cascades on the river and eventually Toll Road Falls about a mile on.

Really enjoyable hike, beautiful waterfall with a great swimming hole for the hot days.

It's clearly a beautiful waterfall, but I would recommend Little Bradley falls trail over this one. If you stay on the trail and don't attempt a descent, well..the view just isn't that great. The hike there is pleasant enough, but if you're looking for a waterfall payoff either a) go elsewhere or b) attempt the rope descent but please only if you are up to it. Also, loose dogs and errant children are a bad idea here, as there is little space at the overlook and no barrier of any kind.

Strenuous hike with an awesome payoff, between the beautiful views from the trail, the cliffs and the stunning waterfall.

In late fall, this hike wasn't that visually stunning, but the waterfall makes up for it. So many ledges and drops! It's beautiful and you could take a million pictures from every angle if you are so inclined. I'd call the hike easy, heading to moderate, depending on how quickly you take it.

Really stunning boulder field and waterfall! The spur trail to the falls can be quite hard to follow after a certain point if there is a lot of leaf litter(ie, the second time I went here). Also, there is one point where you *think* that the trail is blocked but if you keep on walking, there is a path through the downed branches and trees. What I'm saying is, persevere! :) It's an amazing waterfall.

Almost never anyone here. Pretty lake and you can see the remnants of infrastructure when it was used for Greenville's drinking water.

You can see some decent views once the leaves start falling, but there are no 'AHA' moments, unless you take the connectors up to North Lake(you should do this). Also, if you hike it clockwise, you hit the steep part last and it's always longer than I remember.

Waterfalls are small but pretty. The real draw for me is the beautiful fall color and really interesting boulders and rocks everywhere. It is pretty much downhill most of the way, so you know a climb is waiting for you on the way back.
