My favorite. I like to do this one a couple times a week- the scramble is the best part of the hike. My dog agrees!! It’s a great workout and not super time consuming. Close enough to do often.

If you're not an avid hiker- do not do this without one with you. Last trip in we watched 10 people get heiloed out. It gets hotter inside the canyon than people anticipate. It's a scramble hike, and you should be ok good shoes and have plenty of water with you. Some even opt for gloves since you at times will use a rope, and you're on hands and knees on the sand hill and rocks.

Lots of fun! We went and it was warm, but not terrible- I packed in too much water!! It's fairly flat terrain, if you're and avid hiker the distance is the hardest part of the hike! Very worth the time to do the hike!
