Peaceful, easy trail right in downtown which is attached to the Seawall trail, had to cut through to get to my car before the time went out, hahaha, nice shortcut.

I loved this trail... A little popular but for a good reason; it's Beautiful. ❤️

I did only run this and I have to admit that biking seems like it would prove testing.

As far as challenge, it's easy, flat and paved allowing you to easily admire the views.

I look forward to driving back from the Seattle area just to run this again.

It was a nice view but just very crowded... Very.

Recommend going up a trail (most likely Grand Ridge) but otherwise, straight along is just asking to breath in car exhaust along the highway... Meh no thanks!

I still have yet to make it into the city on this track but definitely great for checking off miles!

This trail is conveniently located near where I live so it's a go to when I need hills incorporated into my training. It's nice and peaceful but there are houses on much of it. This is one that I like to take my headphones with and zone out. I wouldn't agree with the other comments about the gates, they haven't been an issue for me and I still couldn't understand why they would be even with a bike...

When I first moved to Washington in early 2017, I discovered the Sammamish River Trail located right behind my apartment.

This trail helped me to find my love for running and I was easily able to up my miles from 3 to 20. Since then, I've used it for running, biking and roller blading.

It's a nice long stretch of paved road alongside the river. It does get crowded in certain areas during spring/summer but everyone seems to be pretty respectful of space and staying to the right. During the cooler seasons, it's definitely not as busy and if you're lucky you may just see some Otters like I did :)

The coolest part about this trails that you can go from downtown Redmond to the library to 60 acres park, Woodinville, you pass the Tolt pipeline trail & PSE PowerLine trail, and then into Bothell where it connects you to the Burke Gilman trail... OR you can go to Marymoor Park and connect to the East Lake Sammamish Trail.
