Fairly easy hike, a little muddy closer to the summit. Has a few outlooks and benches to sit and relax. The 360 views from the tower were very beautiful, it was a little hazy. The was a steward at the top giving information about the tower and the area. While not crowded, it was busy on Sunday.

Short trail that connects River Road to the upper unnamed jeep trail. It starts off with a big hill, but the rest of the trail isn't very steep. In the middle of the hike are the bear slides were you can slide down the rocks into the pool at the bottom. Can be busy on hot days.

It's a long mile from the trail split, first half isn't too bad, gets harder near the top, the false summit views are amazing, summit views are also amazing! Went ahead and did Table Top after we got down from Phelps.

Not one of my favorites, did this mountain after doing Phelps. Initial climb isn't too bad, a little muddy, mostly wet. The top was muddy, ankle deep in some spots, not much of a view at the top.

David Gauff reviewed Dynamite Hill-Caroline Fish Memorial Trail

Only took the Outer Loop trail (Yellow markers). This was a nice loop from the Fish trail head to the Dynamite Hill trail head. However we were unable to continue on the trail because it was temporarily closed. We took a different trail to continue the loop. We followed the light purple trail back to the Fish trail head, however, this trail might be ok in the winter, it was very hard to follow in the summer, good thing there were a lot of markers to find our way back.

Short nature walk, trail head is easily found in the library parking lot. There are only a few little hills, lots of benches to take a break and look for wildlife.

I recorded the Cougar Hill loop, but I also walked on about 1/2 of the nature trail. Easy hike around the loop, trail is clearly marked. The mosquitoes were out, there is a lot of streams and water. Seems like a trail I'd like to come back to in the winter and try cross country skiing.

Nice short hike to beautiful view of Loon Lake. I love the markers the Town of Chester has for it's trails. Easy to follow.

Really easy trail up to the summit. Follows a nice stream for the first 1/3 of the trail, some little waterfalls to see. The middle section could use some trail markers, with all the leaves on the ground it was a little hard to keep on the trail at times. Look for pink ribbons or very faded blue marks on trees. I did pull out the phone every once in a while to make sure I was on the trail in AllTrails. The last 1/3 of the trail was muddier with streams and pools of water on the trail.

Rated Hard and I would agree with that. Quickly goes uphill from the parking lot. Steep in some places and a long section of bouldering. Much more fun going up than going down. At the Red/Yellow trail split, if you have a larger dog, I would suggest the Yellow trail and loop to the summit around the back. The Red trail to the summit has 2 ladders on it. The first ladder is about 6 feet tall, my dog didn't have a problem with it, she jumped up the wall. The second ladder at the summit is about 20-25 feet tall, and it's not dog friendly, the rungs are too narrow for a dog's paws to navigate. Since my dog is only 40 lbs, I could carry her up in one arm and climb the ladder. Beautiful views at the summit, well worth the climb! We took the loop down the other side and met up with the yellow trail at the lake.

Was visiting the Stowe area and needed a quick day hike. Moderate hike, nice wood bridges to keep you feet dry in the beginning of the trail. A little muddy on the final push to the summit. Incredible views, one of my favorites!
