Really enjoyed this walk. Lovely cafe at the start, parking is a reasonable cost and there is plenty to see. The walk to the tower and monument also give you a nice workout - but you can do a there and back and keep to the paved track if you wish. All dogs must be kept on leads because of the deer and other wildlife. The whole area is very well managed and free from litter, etc. It would be a great place to take a picnic and we shall visit again in the future.

This is a lovely walk and a good mix of woodland and open space.

Enjoyed this walk (again) today. Autumn trees looked great in the sunshine. Our dog loves it although she is mainly on the lead for the walk.

Lovely walk that takes you from the busy town of Godstone to explore the neighbouring villages and hamlets. Will do this again and try and take in a pub lunch too.

One of my favourite Surrey walks. Plenty to see along this ever changing path. After taking a number of hours to walk this route and only about 5 minutes to get back by train I can see why the railway caught on!

Compared to other routes in the area this one is not too hilly with only one steep climb.

Loved this walk and we will probably do it again. I am sure that it will look and feel different in each season.

There's plenty of car park space at the start and even a small picnic area...

Love this walk. The Cheesewring is definitely worth a visit and this walk makes sure you also take in a great walk across the moor. Lots of opportunity to see the remains of the industries that operated here too.

Wonderful walk with only the sheep and deer to keep you company. Please take care if the weather does not look good. There are few landmarks so make sure you don't miss a turn.

Look out for the golfers as you cross Wentworth. It is a little difficult to see which way the hole runs and therefore if you are crossing in front of someone that is hitting the ball towards you.

This was a truly lovely walk. The pictures fail to show the diverse habitats, colours and wildlife that you will enjoy on this walk. Our dog loved it too as she was able to stay off the lead for large parts of the walk.

Great little adventure. Free parking, buffet car at the station, lovely riverside walk, interesting old buildings, etc. May only be a few miles but plenty to enjoy. I would do this walk again.

Lovely walk that is quite challenging. Some areas are quite remote and navigation is quite difficult as not all the paths are clearly signed as footpaths. (I would suggest using the app so that you can check the live map and make sure you are still on the right track.)

I liked every part of this walk from the riverside path and the climb to Raven Scar to the magnificent views near the end of the walk. We were lucky enough to see the fountain too. It's easy to imagine how wonderful this must have been to visitors when it was originally built.

Richard J reviewed Skipton Castle Woods Trail

We really enjoyed this short walk as it helped us work up an appetite ready to visit and enjoy one of the numerous fab eating places in Skipton. Our dog enjoyed a dip in the beck too - so an all round a good experience.

Some of the stiles (squeeze gaps) are indeed quite narrow. I loved watching the snipe flying around the fields. They are easy to identify because of their long bills.

This is a great walk if you like being high up on the moors with a bit of industrial archeology thrown in. You can of course shorten the walk (and still see nearly all of the industrial archeology) by making it into a linear walk and retracing your steps back before you reach the 'Second Ford Gate" waypoint.

The isles of Scilly is a great place to walk. You are never far away form the sea on this route as you might expect. Plenty of places to sit and watch the world go by.
