Judy Q reviewed Umbrella Falls Trail

Beautiful wildflowers. We saw both falls but didn't realize it was a loop until we returned and looked at a map. We went to the second Falls and back. Scrambling down to see the second falls (can't think of the name) was fun. Extremely dusty for most of the trail. Had to throw every piece of clothing straight into the washing machine. So worth it though!

Flat and boring, but I didn't know about the upper trail until reading another review. So, look for the upper trail and do not go in the heat of the day! There isn't much shade. I would do this walk in the evenings if I lived within walking distance, but it's not really worth a drive.

Took my dog and we both loved it. Only problem was that we came out in a different location and had to find our way back to our parking lot. Fortunately, it wasn't too far away and I was able to find it. I wish the signage was better, but that might just be me. Maybe I wasn't paying attention! We went on a Thursday and ran into about 8 other hikers. Woodsy/shady and quiet. My dog loved the waterfall though there's not much of a pool. Still, he liked splashing around.
