Great hike! A good challenging hike with steep incline. Its a workout. Make sure to bring plenty of water as there is no water on the trail. In the summer you want to do this hike in the morning as it get really hot. Take care my dog & I encounter a rattlesnake. Amazing view of table top mountain. Picnic table at the top. No shade.

Very nice easy short hike. We were looking for snow but luck. There is a small lake that you can walk around. Don't forget you snow-permit if hiking in the winter/spring months.

There are two trail path. I took the one to the left of the sign. This trail is relatively easy to moderately difficulty but a very enjoyable hike. There are slippery granite areas. Be sure to bring shoes with good tread. Also consider shoes for your dog to protect his paws too. The water was nice and refreshing so bring your suit. Beware of people sun bathing in their birthday suit. Despite the gnats it was enjoy hike. Will come again.
