A hike for adventure! Trail in excellent condition all the way up til the chains at Scouts Lookout. Great views but I was probably somewhat underwhelmed of the hike due to the fact I had to return back on the chain ropes after reaching the part where there were no immediate chain ropes in sight and felt it too sketchy. Am sure if you make it to the very end, it’s a 5 star experience.

Queen’s garden is absolutely stunning and one of the most amazing places I’ve ever seen! Very nice hike down to the canyon and a nice trail via Navajo and Wallstreet back up. Loved everything but the crowds. Thankfully wasn’t mad busy and there were some quiet moments to be had.

Easy sandy trail busy with all sorts of people. Think there was tour busses with groups. Lovely arch minus the people.

Not really a hike but trail to the arch. Beautiful arch, but tons of people scrambling up to the arch for photos. Up to the very top “hole” is most definitely not for everyone as difficult to get proper grip on slick rock even with good hiking shoes.

Absolutely superb! We did this trail after midday and by the time we got to the arch, there were just a handful of people there. Amazingly quiet and guess that’s because the park advises not to hike at midday in the extreme heat. We had lots of water with us and a hat and we were fine. Seriously thou, bring LOTS of water! The trail is a bit strenuous in the beginning as you start to climb up the slick rocks. A lot easier down.

Stars ONLY for the amazing view! Sandy trail down to super busy viewing spots. Not exactly a hike and would never do this again unless for the bend. Overcrowded with noisy tourists. Parking space doesn’t accept America the beautiful parks pass.

Went here late afternoon to find the cave. There was nobody else but us which could well be because of the thunderstorms. You need a 4x4 to reach the trailhead. We had to park a bit further out and walk in. Found the cave entrance at the top left, but decided not to go in as looked a bit sketchy and possibly slippery due to rain. Awesome scenery in either case, lovely and secluded.

Did this hike via Cuckwagon/Mescal trail and it was much more scenic than the dirt road. The final part to the arch is a bit of a scramble but otherwise an easy trail. Spectacular views but gets very crowded. We had to queue up for taking some photos on the bridge. Would be nice if people could respect others and nature and not shout, scream and play loud music but this is what you get when a trail with views is so famous and popular.

If you want to walk on a tedious long and stony dirt road with passing 4x4s, this is your “trail”. By far the most boring “hike” on Oahu I have done to date! At the end point, no albatrosses, seals or anything other than Myna birds and a lot of locals fishing and camping out by the shore.

Excellent views on this trail when it’s not too cloudy. Last mile or so felt long, strenuous and a bit tedious, as the clouds came in and didn’t lift at the trail end at all. The trail is in good shape and easy to follow - thus, bit too busy and touristy. We went early so wasn’t too bad. Bring lots of water.

The bamboo forest was amazing and the waterfall at the end also. Be careful, there are rocks falling from high up around the waterfall every so often and can seriously hurt you! Two pieces of rock fell when we were there - luckily nobody got hurt!
Generally the trail is super busy and touristy. We started at 9 am and there was already “rush hour”. Currently the smell of rotting fruit (mangoes) on the trail is quite overpowering at times.

The trail is called Piilani trail and has gorgeous views to the black sand beach. It’s quite rocky so recommend sturdy shoes. Towards the end there is a cool blow hole. We went in the evening and had the trail almost to ourselves, but can see that the beginning of the trail would be busy during the day, as there were a lot of people taking photos on the main beach and camping areas.

Great tropical nature trail! Lots of birds, plants and amazing trees to view on the way up to the top. Spectacular views! Worth the muddy and humid walk.

Definitely a very tough hike with some steep parts and close to edge sections. Good shoes mandatory for less experienced hikers. Did see some walking barefoot also. Due to the difficulty of trail most definitely not suitable for everyone.
However, absolutely amazing views and simply the most picturesque hike to date!
