Great hike. Near the summit there are 35-45 degree rocks to climb, kind of sketchy when wet.

I started at 8.30am at the parking lot and by the time I got to the snow section at 10am, it was still firm. On my way down at 11am-ish it had soften quite a bit. I wore micro spikes up, but when I was coming down I saw some people successful walk up with out micro spikes. Though if you have it, might as well bring it.

This hike seriously sucks. Trail is not obvious most of the time. Do not wear shorts, the branches will scratch up your legs. Hike will take way long than you think.

First 2/3 of the hike is a bit so so, the last 1/3 is really pretty. The leaves have started changing colors.

Did it today for the second time. Just as hard as the first time. Bring lots of water, you are exposed to the sun most of the time.

Like others have said the trail sort of disappears near the top. Then it is some scrambling before you find the trail again. On the way up, I stuck to the left side of the ridge when looking towards the summit. On the way down I mostly just walked right along the ridge line.

Trail was moderate until I hit greaves creek. Got stuck and lost the trail. Couldn’t figure out how to move forward. So I back tracked and went on an alternate trail. I looked up Luke Ryan’s recording post hike and can see that he also got stuck where I did, but it looks like he figured it out.

    Extremely exhausting trail.

Very very difficult hike. I got to the summit though. Woohoo!

So nice to walk along side the river most of the way up and down. There is tons of shade early in the morning. I saw no biting insects.

Great hike, and some what tiring. Bring more water than you think you need.

Over grown in parts. Not particularly fun hike. The scenery is pretty blend. Skip this hike.

No snow anywhere on the mountain. The road leading up to the trailhead is more suited for 4wd cars but 2wd can get up a fair way. Still 4wd would be best.

Amazing view up top. A little bit of snow left in small sections, but you don't need any gear for the snow.

Steep hike to the top. Very challenging but rewarding!

    Amazing view at the summit.

The side road at the end that is supposed to take you to the trailhead, there is a sign at the beginning of this road that reads private road, no public access. There was no other obvious way to get to trailhead. Don't bother with this hike.

Great hike. Bring hiking poles. On the way down, there are some parts that steel and full of tiny rock pebbles, which makes it hard to have traction with the ground.

Great hike with a few beautiful along the way. By doing a google search on this trail, you will see that others have warned again parking at the upper parking lot, but instead park at the lower parking that is right by the salmon hatchery. Apparently lots of break ins occurs at the upper parking.

Really fun hike to go underground for such a long time. I did the upper trail.
