I recommend only if you have very grippy shoes, are in decent/good shape and are not afraid of heights. It’s no joke of a hike with spectacular views.

We started the hike at the trailhead around 9am with a group that had either micro spikes or hardcore crampons - both 100% required. We were lucky enough that without very recent snowfall, the trail was fairly packed down at least for the first half. About a half mile in, we came across one of the river crossings that required we trek a few hunted yards up stream. Nothing too terrible. Once we hit what I call the second half of this hike, it’s a pretty steady climb. The trail was still fairly packed down, icy and using the trees along the way to help hoist yourself up was clutch. The clear skies lasted throughout the afternoon and we slowly descended down with no one losing their footing. Despite no recent snowfall, the trees at the top were complete icicles against the blue sky. Pretty impressive photo opportunities for the enthusiasts.
