I truly enjoyed the nature hike. Once you pass the water falls and continue the trail all the way around the park (about 3.75 miles) you barely see anyone on the trail. Yes some dogs were off leash, but the ones we encountered were well behave and trained. Most of the park is clean except the parking lot area which is dusty and scattered trash (small amount) around. Yes although it is clearly marked that there is no wading or swimming in the creek, kids and dogs still do... they’ll learn the lesson the hard way, but it’s there prerogative.
Other than that, it was a good hike. It went from easy to moderate back to easy and I truly enjoyed my 1 1/2 hour hike. it’s not Phoenix, but for being so close to a city it will do for now.
