Monika Stepien reviewed Irwin Quarry and the Robert Side Trail

This trail is at the Silver Creek Conservation Area. Free parking at Fallbrook Trail and side road 27. Perfect parking in between Silver Creek Conservation Area and Terra Cotta conversation Area. Trails here are great, couple of lakes all around and great dense forest with rocky terrain.
The 5km Bruce trail here is really great.

Monika Stepien reviewed Kelso Conservation Trail

Kelso reminds me of a smaller Blue mountain but with a man made lake and beach. The hiking trails and great, some made for biking but really nice and mainly inside a dense forest. We walked 13 km all around the trails and will come back again soon.

Great trails. Did 16km in 4 hours. All the side trails are made for biking but they are great for hiking too, lots of twists and turns. Parking is free.

Monika Stepien reviewed Mono Cliffs Provincial Park Area Trails

Did 13km here in under 4 hours. The park is not very dense with forrest, so not much shade, mostly tall thin trees. There are about 4 very small lakes through the park and some cliffs with a look out point. Parking is $14.50 but if you drive around you can park free on the street in many places. Bruce trail is probably the best trail at this provincial park. Views and scenery was just ok, nothing spectacular. Markings were very good.

Monika Stepien reviewed Island Lake Conservation Area Trail

Love this trail at the Island Lake Conversation Area. This lake is man made and quite large. The trail takes you all around the lake with many bridges to cross different parts of the lake. There is no up or down hills, the 10 km trail around the lake is pretty flat. Lots of benches to sit and enjoy the view. Very small patches of forest to walk thru. Very well taken care off. Side parking off of Huronontario gives you free entrance. Definitely coming back here many times!

Great trail along the river bank. Bruce Trail started off with a waterfall, then straight down hill. Lots of up and down hills and great views. Small parking lot at Mill Street South and Waterdown Rd. No fee.

Love this place! Been here twice now and hiked over 10km each time. If you get on the bike trail it is 7km long and narrow but great if you want to get off the main paths. Nice little water fall in the middle of the park. Ample parking and washrooms.

Monika Stepien reviewed Hockley Eastern Trails

Took 4.5 to do this whole trail from Hockley Road to Dunlop Rd. Quite steep, lots of up and down the hill. Lots of creeks which was nice. Markings were very poor. Parking was very bad, took 45 minutes to find a spot. The second parking lot was closed.
