We started 8:30am. We were a big group to help with breaking trail. We had to park about 1.7 miles away from TH because road is closed (no gate just a sign).

We summited about 4:30pm. It was a team effort of breaking trail in this heavily snowed area. Snowshoes from TH. Nothing technical just a lot of work.

Back to TH about 8pm. You have to have flash light in this outing.

11.8 miles round trip (strenuous). 3600 ft elevation gain. Whole day workout

Started around 8am with a group of hikers. We summited after about 2 hours and 40 minutes. We were back to trailhead at exactly 1pm (5 hours total time including the stop at the summit). Trail condition is good. Only needed microspikes and poles (some among us did not even use microspikes at all). No need for snowshoes. Make sure to check the signs to the correct trail as there are few “social trails” that can divert you from the actual trial. Views are amazing at summit.

Amazing trail. The scenery is incredible. It is great for running but a bit short for biking.
