I loved this hike! Felt like there was a new surprise around every corner with views, wild flowers, a glacier and an abandoned mining building with super neat graffiti. Loved it!

Absolutely stunning views of the waterfalls and river. Truly a sight worth seeing. I'd rate it a 5, but in comparison to the Rocky Mountains, where I normally hike, it's a 4.

This was a beautiful walk! I recommend being best spray as a couple we passed on the trail said a black bear had crossed the path right in front of them. Lots of areas to climb and explore - children would love it! It reminded me of an enchanted forest with all the moss and hiding spots and little waterfalls. Last summer my husband and I walked this area with the kids - we crossed the footbridge at the parking lot and did that route which was also beautiful and fun. This time hubby and I took the path (from the parking lot) to the right of the bridge and it was even more beautiful. I can't wait to come back here with the kids when we are out again in the summer.

Beautiful, easy stroll. Would love to come back here with my kids; they would love it. Lovely waterfalls and greenery. Very quiet - only passed about 4 people the entire time. We are used to long hikes with extreme elevation in the Rocky Mountains, so on an exertion level I rate this as very easy. We ended up doing the loops two times through to get enough exercise.

For being in the middle of the city, this is incredible! I would not classify this as a hike; the paths are pretty much all paved. Heavily trafficked with friendly people - kids, dogs, families, bicyclists, joggers. We even saw some deer.

A super easy and quick hike with truly amazing views. My boys (5 and 8) did this hike with no problems in about 1.5 hours (up and back down with a break at the top). There are a tonne of people so no need to worry about bears or cougars on this one! The kids and the dogs all had a great time, and the boys were super proud of themselves for summiting their first mountain.

Absolutely stunning views! There were a surprising number of people on the trail for shoulder season. Lots of beautiful snow. I disagree with the rating of "hard". I found this to be a quick and easy hike. Park in upper kananaskis lake lot and walk around lake trail until you reach signs for Rawson Lake trail. Enjoy!

Amazing hike! Beautiful views the whole way!! Park in the Lantern Creek lot and then cross the highway and walk north about a quarter of a km to the trailhead. Poles were useful on this hike as it was slippery in parts. Dress in layers as weather ranged from needing a jacket, toque, and mittens - to short sleeves. There was lots of snow but we were warm and happy. This has been one of my favorite hikes so far. The description above said this hike is only acceptable until September but we went the last weekend in October and it was totally fine. We only saw about 6 other people the entire hike though. It also says it's rated as easy, which I disagree with. I'd say it's probably moderate in the summer, and it was hard in the snow. Bring bells and spray, as apparently this area is prime for bears (there was a serous grizzly attack there in 2014); though we didn't see any trace of bears (phew). It's a lot of climbing (FitBit says 177 flight of stairs); great for dogs but small kids would struggle. Highly recommend this hike.

A very intense / challenging hike / scramble. Definitely the hardest I've ever done. But it was a BLAST and the views are amazing the entire time.

Made for a nice, peaceful and short hike. We actually tried to do sulfur Springs but it was not very well marked and some of the maps were scratched out so we inadvertently ended up doing diamond t. Not much of a view but it was a pleasant hike nonetheless. We were the only ones on the trail and didn't pass anyone else the entire time so not likely a good one to do on your own.

Very pretty landscape. Mountains, prairies, cattle, CP rail trains, River, trees, wild life… Pretty much everything Alberta has to offer all in one spot. Pathways are all gravel or paved so I would describe it as more of a walk than a hike.
