This trail was incredibly beautiful and had awesome views. The wind was our antagonist for sure; very windy it blows against you going uphill which is quite the challenge. We did everything but the last scramble and it took about six hours with small breaks.

Really gorgeous hike. The last mile up there is already a decent amount of snow and at the top, close to 6 inches. Definitely wear waterproof hiking boots.

One of my favorite hikes in Colorado. Really beautiful views the whole way. From the road parking lot to the waterfall it was closer to eleven miles for us. Didn’t care either way.

Lovely hike. It honestly made me feel a bit like I'd been cramming Little Debbies all week because the elevation had me doing the hard breathe that you try to hide a bit when other fit hikers walk by. I wish I would have walked past lake Constantine to the other lakes nearby but I was hungry and wanted dinner.

First hike in Colorado in which I thought 'how the hell do I get out of here'. It's my fault. It doesn't claim to have all the glitz and glam of other mountains but I listened to a friend who said it was a great way to spend the afternoon and now I will never listen to them again. Underwhelming views pretty crowded and nothing that made it all feel worth it. I know, I know, I have a bad attitude. I honestly just don't like my job right now so it's reflecting highly in this review which is partially unfair but that's life.

Great hike that was not as busy, even on the weekend. Had great shade and a good mix of wildflowers, forest, canyons, streams. I would highly recommend going counterclockwise. More of a gradual incline at the end as opposed to a more steep climb if you go clockwise.

Loved this trail. Switchbacks through the woods and then nice clearing with beautiful views on the way up. Near the lake, there is a bit of a scramble but it was such fun. Go early to avoid heat and the crowds!

Great summer trail next to river. People were taking dips and cooling down. First part of trail is a road but then the loop is a great true trail with nice views.

This trail is perfect for people that want big views with not a lot of strain. Perfect place for new hikers and bringing people from out of town who want to experience the mountains. I was really taken back by how beautiful this trail was. Such a privilege to live here in CO!

I am in 'moderate' shape but I made a very big mistake of not drinking enough water or bringing enough water and hiked on a hot, sunny day. I found it to be between moderate and hard. HYDRATE!!!
