This is a good hike for people who don’t like a lot of mud or rocks. You follow a dirt road almost the entire way up. About 3/4 of the way up you reach the abandoned hotel ruins where you can take a break and look around. You have about another half of a mile or so to the firetower. There are Stewards at the top on the weekends and there’s a lot of info about the trail in the cabin nearby. Continue away from the tower about 1/10 of a mile to the overlook where you can get a great view of the south. Recommended for anyone.

This is a pretty easy and standard up and down that has a few twists and turns as you follow the red markers and bike trail. It was a muggy wet day when I did it so it was very muddy, but the trail was still pretty easy to follow. There’s a lookout point about 2/3 of a mile up overlooking brant lake to the north east. Continue on to reach the wooded summit about 1/5 of a mile from there. This trail is recommended for a quick trek as I did it in about 40 minutes of moving time.

This is a fairly easy trail with different options going out and back. It’s about 3/4 of a mile to the lookout point with a wooden gazebo and an overlook of the lake. From there you can take another route back down or continue on in a zigzag to a waterfall about another mile - 1.5 miles. You’ll be following the blue and orange trail markers most of the hike. Again... there are several different routes to take so you can get a few different looks along the way. It’s a short hike if you only decide to go to the lookout point.

This trail was carved out pretty well for it being fairly new. If you follow the alltrails route you can just look for the tags on the trees which sometimes change from red to yellow to blue. There’s a slightly longer loop near the beginning that will take you to the right and meet back up before you start the real ascent.

It took us about 50 minutes to the top and 40 down as we took the slightly longer loop at the fork. Make sure to continue along the rocks at the summit to get the best views from around the side. You’ll be pleasantly surprised with how good the view is for such a short hike.

This is surprisingly a bit difficult if you take the short route up. There’s not too much elevation gain but it comes quick and swift. There’s a little rock scrambling near the top. When you get near the summit there will be several viewpoints along the rocks. The terrain changes several times on the way up. It’s an enjoyable little hike.

This is a quick hike for all skill levels. The view of the lake and surrounding area is very good for the short climb. It took me 20 minutes to the top and 15 minutes down.
