16 miles out and back from pats island trailhead to juniper springs. Pretty thick for 75 percent of the trail then opens up around the ponds before going back into the thick scrub. No signs of bears, couple of deer, turkeys and quail. If you go early and are the first one on the trail bring a stick to clear the hundreds of spider webs.

Deer and a bunch of turkey on this trail. Lots of additional loops to make it short or long. Pretty easy there is some soft sand to trek threw.

Cool caves but the grafiti is a little disappointing. The loop around is pretty good with some nice elevation change. Saw a couple of deer.

Not much happening around this trail. There are a couple of sink holes and mini gorge. Good shade cover.

Nice easy trail. Lots of deer. A little swampy on some parts of the trail but manageable.

Short steep climb at the start then levels off to trout lake. Good amount of traffic in the afternoon. We saw a moose near the start of the trail.

Tons of buffalo, gets busy towards the afternoon. Nice views of the valley.

Nice views from overlook point. Do this trail early to beat the crowds and have most of basin to yourself.

Nice hike with a steep climb at the start then leveling out through thick trees. Saw elk, deer, chipmunks and ground squirrels for days. Beaver pond had a couple of abandoned beaver dams but no beavers. Great views of the canyon.

Still covered with hard packed snow but can be easily navigated. Geysers are underwhelming but the views of the canyon are worth it when you get to the top.
