awesome views. we took boat from lodge to save a few miles; you may want to just walk because tough to get return boat (too crowded). if you wait til 5:15 boat guarantees everyone a ride. but beware, we saw bears over the trail. more than 2 hours from boat dock to glacier lake. eat lunch at the lake, not the 'picnic area' below. pit toilet at boat dock and also at top. saw goats and a moose (and bears from boat). this is harder than iceberg lake trail, but not so cold at the top. awesome and doable trail.

quiet on a beautiful dec. day. I was scared by 9 mile description, but I did the 3 miles to park boundary for a 6.1 hike. The utility trail at 2.2 is good place to turn around if don't want to do rougher and hillier last mile. The trail must go another 2 miles in the Schenck forest.

disjointed. glad I had app for this first time. started at Bikram parking lot. it did have variety, 3 1/2 miles RT on paved greenways, dirt, rough dirt, streets, sidewalks, and pretty wetland boardwalk . 9/11 memorial near pond.

combined both sides of lake for about 4.5 miles. liked dirt west side better but made one wrong turn and ended up in apts.

Good for locals, but wouldn't drive back here. no parking except at strip mall at walnut end. recommend adding the pond .

nice 2 mile loop, woods right in town. but keep eyes open, lots of roots on dirt trail. I added 3/4 of Pawpaw trail to get my 45 minute walk in.
