Very deceiving hike. Says 7.2 miles but the first 5.2 miles are practically flat. I call this one "the stairway to serene" because it was more of a climb up wooden stairs than actual hiking. Beautiful lake once you get to the top. Luckily I went on a weekday so there weren't any crowds.

I also recommend going up Bridal Veil Falls. It's an extra mile out and back but definitely worth it.

Did this hike a while back. I'm from washington state so it was comical to me seeing everyone wearing fancy clothes and wearing makeup on a trail. Its a beautiful view from the top however if you catch a day that isn't too smoggy.

Not going to lie. This hike was pretty anti-climactic. For those who are just starting to hike. I wouldn't really call this one a hike its more of a little adventure. Driving to it is more of a challenge than the walk to the caves.

Definitely don't go inside. Because, well, its not smart and people die from it every year.

The loop is very nice on a decent day. A few steep parts but for the average hiker this will seem like a cakewalk. I recommend getting out there and seeing the view from the ridge at least once!

Beautiful hike. Harder than expected. Well worth it and full of Gray Jays to feed at the top! Lake still frozen over with snow. Trail is in perfect condition but prepare for snow the last mile.

Nice little hike. Prefer going on a rainy day actually. There aren't many areas for sun to come through anyway.
