A very enjoyable hike starting out as a ramble along the Fremont River and orchards and then climbing up to a beautiful view of the fold and Fruita.

A great little hike through time. Though I didn't go up to the tanks, this hike takes you through an imposing gorge with towering rock walls that was the main route through the Waterpocket fold before Rte. 24 was completed. On its walls you can see petroglyphs left by ancient peoples and names carved by early pioneers and travelers. The stories those walls hold !

A steady uphill hike, difficult to follow in some spots. On the way to the viewpoint you get great views of Hickman Bridge and Pectol Pyramid. The fold rises like the bow of ship and take note of the black volcanic rocks that add a touch of the surreal to the trail. The landscape and vistas won't disappoint.

This trail takes you past several arches, each special in it's grandeur, such as Landscape Arch and others as a frame to the valleys below. Other spectacular features are the sandstone fins on the way to the Double O. Hike traverses both gentle terrain and some scrambling on the slickrock. As with most of the popular hikes, start out earlier as it is less crowded and the weather a bit cooler.

Great views. Best to go early in the morning. Hardly anyone was there and the morning sun lights the arch like a ribbon of orange.

Really enjoyed this one. Not to difficult and amazing views at every turn. Pick up the park brochure at the beginning of the hike. It will give you information about the geology and flora of what you are seeing at four marked vistas.

Great little hike around this geologic curiosity. The story presented on the sign was very interesting.

Enjoyed this short hike. Beautiful views of the arches. Take the primitive trail back down. Great views of the valley, mountains and the back of the arches.

Great early morning warm up hike. Weather was cool and hardly anyone was there at that time. Most take photographs at the viewpoint, but the easy hike into the canyon is well worth it to give you a perspective of the massive sandstone monoliths and the enveloping solitude.

Iconic hike at Arches National Park. April weather was perfect, sunny low 80's. The hike on the way up revealed a sublime landscape in every direction.
The view of the arch was amazing, ringed by snow capped mountains in the distance. Take in some of the human history at the beginning of the trail. The Wolfe cabin and nearby Ute petroglyphs each tell a fascinating story. The trail is moderately strenuous, take plenty of water. The effort will be worth it, the views won't disappoint
