Took the Teton Village Aerial Tram up to the top of Rendezvous which was an exciting undertaking. The views of the surrounding peaks was incredible and offered a unique view from the summit without any work. The decline through the woods was very pretty but very steep. After getting down to the first "valley" there were endless wildflowers around, taking your mind off the next steep incline. The next few miles meander through woods and wildflower fields with small feeder streams running through them, something that seemed like it was straight from a storybook. Once you get to about the 6 mile mark the bugs began with biting flies of all sizes which took away from the views. The trail also dips down into the forest which only made the flies worse. From there, the next 6 miles seemed to have little to no views of the terrain besides the occasional stream here or there. Overall the first half is entirely worth it but underwhelming for the next half.

Started this hike at the bottom of the Granite Canyon trail after hiking down from Rendezvous. This hike would have been nice had it been in April or September when it's too cold for mosquitoes which were more than overwhelming. Not only did the trail between Granite and Teton Village offer little to no views, my group and I were constantly swatting the bugs away from ourselves. The trail also brings you out to the back of Teton Village and meets up with a very steep service road that seems out of place in such a beautiful area.

Great and easy hike. My family and I use this hike as our acclimation hike on our first day. Great views and great forest trail!

Done this hike 3 times already and it never fails to take my breath away. Stunning from the boat ride across Jenny Lake to Inspiration Point to the marshes surrounding Cascade Creek. Every time we have seen at least one moose, the most recent time it was a bull that stepped out onto the trail ahead of us and walked along it for a while, very cool but also a little scary. Incredible panoramic views no matter what part of the trail you're on. By far my favorite hike in the park!

Definitely start this hike early, switchbacks can get long and tiresome but entirely worth it. Done this hike 3 times at the ages of 8, 10, and 18 so it can be done at a wide range of ages so long as children are aware and monitored. Saw three bears right away and a cub on the way back down.
First two times were in mid-late June and there was still a fair amount of snow but the last time (mid July) we were able to make it to Amphitheater no problem. Stunning views of the summits from the lake which is also a prime spot to stop for lunch. Good mix between shaded areas, open flower meadow, and rocky terrain. A hike for everyone!

Easy descent down to the falls or down the short trail off to the right to get down near the river. Beautiful views of both the falls and the river. Tends to be a little crowded throughout the day but overall incredible up close sights to see

We used this hike as an easy first day to acclimate (coming from flat all around Minnesota), the hike starts in a hurry to get up to the top but the quick scramble pays off right away. You walk along the cliff side with views of the Yellowstone River and even a small glimpse of Tower Falls. We saw a few bison along the way which made it even better. Overall an easy, but rewarding hike.
