My first ever actual hike up a mountain. I was with a rather seasoned hiker so initially it was hard to catch up to her but I was able to make it with minimal stops. There was a bit of snow (went last week) towards the top and the 3/4 of the way to the lake was quite muddy but still an enjoyable hike. Although, I do love to get muddy when I'm outdoors. We had lunch at the lake before going back down to the trailhead. Would definitely recommend it. It does say it's a moderate hike and I'm the one wierdo that loves a challenge so if you're looking for a walk in the park, you might have to look elsewhere. But do bear in mind, it IS worth the climb.
