Good walk. Watch for steep sides through woods. Great pub food

5 stars for this walk because of the ice-cream sold at the farmhouse and a quaint tea room in Ellerburn which was an added, unexpected bonus. (Check opening times)

Lovely walk on the coast path. Kept dog on lead as very close to the edge. Shortened the walk by going inland at Stoupe Beck Sands and following bridle path/lanes back to the Cinder Track. This meant we crossed an interesting ford (never seen one so long before)

Lovely easy to follow route. We saw thousands of butterflies in early August. Gully was a bit slippery but took it steady and it was fine. Stream by the car park was a bonus to wash the dog off.

Paths a little overgrown so long trousers helpful. A little slippy after rain but walking boots helped. Clear easy instructions and some good places for the dog to go off his lead.

Great walk with the dog. Off lead on disused rail line. On lead along coastal path. He loved his dip in the sea and we loved the tea garden at the station.
