The end of this hike is where it's at. Two lakes & gorgeous waterfall. The waterfall was truly incredible & seems to go on forever. Some portions were difficult to see due to snow. I surprised to see the amount of snow I did, it's pretty much throughout the entire trail. The second lake I couldn't get to because the snow was too deep. Extremely muddy, but all well worth it.

Beautiful hike. Moderate incline the entire way up. towards the end hit patches of snow. Slippery but still doable. Yaktracks would do ya justice in some areas. River is flowing strong which adds to the scenery. Once you get to the loop they're are portions of the trail under shallow water due to snow melt. Feet got wet in some areas but nothing bad. You have to cross the river a few times to remain on the trail.. one section via a downed tree & the other two I jumped. The mountain range that is to your back is incredible... keeps revealing more & more the further ya go. Picture is attached.

Still quite a bit of snow but there are breaks. It's a steady incline to the lakes. First one was completely melted, the other frozen. Pretty slippery & muddy in certain sections. Still totally doable. There are multiple trails & a lot of foot traffic going in various directions but it's easy to find your way. You're surrounded by a view so no complaints there. Still pretty brown. The green & wildflowers are trying to push through... would be much better if you wait a few weeks for the color.

People, just a hint on how all trails works. When you write a review & rate a trail, the rest of us would like to know the trail conditions. Also another helpful hint, when you take pictures we want them of the trail & its surroundings, not of your family. Just trying to spread the good word.
