    Lin Wall reviewed Chapel Trail

I only went one way from Washingtons headquarters to the visitors center. in the beginning there was a steep part that wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't raining. Otherwise it was a very pretty relaxing walk along the river/train tracks.

We parked on the PA side, walked across the river and explored one of the trails in the NJ side and walked back. The PA side is all open space and the NJ side is mostly wooded. I will definitely go back to explore more of the trails. Trails are single file. Nice scenery. However take heed the trash cans have been all removed from the NJ side.

Hiked back as far as where you would have to climb boulders in the stream. We weren't able to safely cross so we turned back. Overall it was a good hike. Beautiful scenery. We went off the trail at one point because the trail continued in front of us but it was very difficult to see. There was a very clearly marked trail across the stream up a hill.

This was not at all a hike, but a guided slow walk, most of which is on a wooden boardwalk through the bog. It was beautiful and very informative. I would recommend if in the area.
