The hike is great and offers stunning views of the Santa Clarita Valley and some of the San Fernando Valley. The Hike is 5 miles but where I parked off of Weldon Canyon and where the loop finishes at the 5 mile mark leaves you no where near the beginning of the trail. It was about a 2 mile walk down the old road to get back to the car. So a loop is not really a description for this hike, but if you dont mind the extra 2 miles the hike is definitely worth it.
