I hiked Kelso Dunes 3 times already. I drove 2.5-3hrs from where I lived. But it's worth of a drive anyway. I took different people here already. and they love it. the 3rd time I went was Saturday, April 28, 2018 with my daughter and son. they are only 5 & 8 and they love the sand dunes. they made it all the way to the top of the sand dunes. i was so proud of them. and this was their first hike of a 3 miles. never did took them on my little hike before. they love it and asked for more hikes. also, this place is just amazing. never a dull of how many times i been here.. for some people who don't hike much.. this will be legs workout for sure.

Lhynnix . reviewed Vivian Creek Trail to San Gorgonio Peak

Did this hike Oct. 8. that was 3 weeks ago. The trails were easy to follow and well maintained. It was a tough inclining. 1.5 miles before getting to the top. I got sick from elevation (I was sick and elevation added to my sickness. So, a little advice don't go farther if you are feeling the sickness. It was a bad decision because I was about to collapse if I didn't get to take a 20mins nap). I gave up already but my friend pushed me to keep going. We hiked a little farther until we see the San Gorgonio peak about .3miles away and that's when I took a 20mins nap. That made me feel better and continue the hike all the way to the peak and back down.

Overall, it was a great experienced. As I said, trails were well maintained and easy to follow. Also, its more than 18 miles. We hiked the trails in a day from morning to night.

I will try to hike San Gorgonio Peak again next year.

Lhynnix . reviewed Mt. San Antonio & Mt. Baldy Notch Trail

Did this hiked alone from Manker Flat》Baldy Notch》Devil's Back Bone Trail》Mt. San Antonio》Baldy Bowl Trail》Back to Manker Flat. So I did a loop hiking this trails. It was better that way. It took me 3 hrs going down with lots of resting and pictures of the views. Stop by the ski hut too. It took me a little longer because I pulled a muscle of my right back knee and it was painful. So I slowed down. Going down from Baldy Bowl Trail was rough and steeps that's when I pulled a muscle because I slid down on my bottom trying to stop. Anyway, I hiked in the morning from 645am and back at my car 220pm with alot of resting. it's not bad at all. I stopped alot to appreciates all the scenery. This is not a race so take more time to rest.

Overall, strenuous, hard, very steeps trails. I had fun and a great experienced hiking it alone. Meet alot of people on the way up, at the summit and on the way down. Can't wait for next year.

I hiked Cucamonga Peak with friends last month. This was a good hike. At the top, Cucamonga Peak welcomed us with a nice and beautiful scenery, layers with clouds. Trail is easy to follow. Definitely not getting lost in the woods. Trail is about 11-12 miles strenous hard hike. The only thing I didn't like about this trail was the rocks everywhere. I almost hurt my ankle so many times because of it. But over all, this trail is fun. I will definitely come back again.

Lhynnix . reviewed East Fork Trail (Bridge to Nowhere)

Aug. 26, 2017 Bridge to Nowhere. Hiked this 10.7 miles trail for 7 hrs back and forth with friends including resting and soaking our feet in the water streams. Fun morning hike with elevation gain of 1,300+ ft. We started our hike in the morning at 6:15am and arrive at the bridge at 8:45am. On the way back 10:45am and arrive at the parking lot at 12:45pm. we took our time resting and eating some snacks in the water below the bridge. On our way back, the heat started since the degree was too high up. So glad, we started in the morning to hike.
●Brings lots of water, Snacks, recommend to hike this place in the morning. parking lot gets pack too fast.

Lhynnix . reviewed Potato Mountain Wilderness Trail

I love this hike. Going to Potato Mountain via East Face was amazing. I loved the inclined gaining 1300+ ft of elevation was superb. Via East Face, the trail was very steep, slippery and the made it HARD to hiking. I recommend this trail for the experience hiker. Once we reached to the top of Potato Mountain then we took Evey Canyon MTWY to go down. So, we did atleast 3.5 miles for this hike. What I like about taking the Eas Face going up was the scenery. The sunrise, the view of the city were very astonishing. View was just breathing. Definitely going back again.
