great walking, hiking trail to lake. large trail at first, small trails around lake. lots of poison ivy on trail to the right (on NE side of lake -- beyond the rock wall). the rock wall is neat b/c you can hear the water running beneath and feeding into the wetland. there is a beaver lodge in the lake, as well.

"gorge"ous! rocky on west side of falls and lost trail. lots of rocky scrambles on west side. east side had some inclined ascents that would level out. most were dirt with some rocks, and with ropes. there's a log and rocks to cross in the summer for the main trail. to cross the waterfall at the top, there is no bridge -- you must walk through the water (wide) to get to the other side. i'd recommend bringing water shoes for crossing rocky surfaces in water (if you have sensitive feet like myself!)

Very buggy, overgrown fields, lots of mud -- shoe got stuck and came off foot. Bug spray doesn't help. Trails not marked well. Got lost, called visitor center and they had trouble finding our location.

Great we escarpment trail. Muddy and tons of bugs on hog and paint trails. Hog and paint trail poorly marked and long (3 ft) grass in parts - got lost for miles when came out to road. Side roads (pinnacle Rd) not on trail map and visitor center could not find road when called.

Easy. Great places to rest. Brought water shoes to cross stream for red trail. Wore bug spray. A few bug bites through my pants. Saw heron by dam crossing. Also. Oil sheen in water there.
