i came here with friends on an early Saturday morning. You have to or else you ran out of parking, by the time we got here around 830a, parking is full so we had to park on the side street. this was not hard to find just as long as you open your eyes for other cars who are parked or else you will miss it. We started at the purisima creek trail then heading to Craig britton to harkins ridge trail. the views were amazing. When you get to the top, don't forget your sunscreen since it didn't have much shade but when you begin the hike, then there's lot of shade.

This was in conjunction of coming to see McWay Falls. My friends, my guy and I didnt know what we were up against once we started the trail. We started from the parking lot and find the start of the trail which is mark as Canyon and Ewoldsen Trail. It's a gradual incline and moderate hike. For beginners, it might be difficult. We all started at the left side of the trail which starts steep already but it is all worth it because the views are amazing. I dont think it was a 4.5 miles, it's more 6-7miles. I recommend this trail.

Its magnificent view. We started on this hike first because if we do it after doing ewoldson loop, it will be more traffic of visitors. It was a gorgeous day to check the falls that meet the ocean.

Def a workout. Good view of the lake the whole 8.6mile loop hike. Some incline. Part shady and sunny.
