i would rate this easy..im new to WA and find the trails labeled moderate to be easy. this trail had a lot of flat walking, long gentle switchbacks...occasional gentle elevation gains..at top is a junction of other trails, no view. good walk with some cardio

Very simple, hard parked dirt, flat walk up all switch backs with gradual climb. I found it very boring with little to see. No real hard climbing or varied terrain. Would not go back here.

Most of this hike up an extremely boring very packed dirt trail (probably old logging road) with nothing to see until the very top which is pretty. The trail has no interesting terrain or variation and you look at devastated forrest with only evergreens where selective logging was done. Most of the trees were never fully removed and are fallen and rotting. The top of the hike is mostly rock and finally something interesting to climb with a challenge. I don't understand any good reviews of this hike except that they are hikers who don't venture out beyond the area much. Yes its a good work out but not worth the visit at all.
