My son and I biked from West Newton with camping gear to the Historic Dravo Cemetery and stayed the night at the camp ground. About 9 miles one way. We didn't have room for all of the gear so we left behind our blanket and pillows. Big mistake. We were uncomfortable and cold all night. Even thought of heading back at 2am..but we toughed it out. Even though it was miserable it will be a memory never forgotten.. We plan on doing it again just better prepared....

Awesome trail. Be sure to visit one of the outfitters and do the Pedal & Paddle...You bike up the river about 9 miles where they meet you and trade your bikes for boats. Then you raft back down 9 miles...Fun for all ages...

This part of the Great Allegheny Passage is my favorite. It has the West Newton Bike Shop and best of all, the Trailside Inn..Really good food!

This may be great for skiing but also in the summer you can take the ski lift up to the top with your mountain bike and bike down through some of the best trails...Had a blast!
