Great little hike/walk for little legs. The bridge was pretty amazing too!

The map is a little deceiving. The waterfall is only about .6 up the trail. You can continue above the waterfall. Moderate hike, but worth it for the waterfall. It’s just long and hard enough for the kids to enjoy!

Not 3.4 miles! It’s 2 up and 2 down, so be prepared! My kids 5 & 3 walked the entire time and it took us about 4 hours (including the stay at the waterfall).

Then hike was perfect, just longer than I expected. Also dusty and a lot of rocks. Otherwise one of the best longer hikes I’ve been on. Totally worth it!

We went mid July on a Sunday at 7 am. And very much worth it. The parking is insanely limited, so arrive early.

The hike was great! Not too difficult or easy.

The Hot Springs do have a smell, but that’s expected. We did come across a ton of trash, including half a watermelon, that we packed out of there. Otherwise, I’ll absolutely be back!!

The first part was a lot steeper than I expected, even with the tips on these reviews. My 3 year old needed assistance.
The bugs were out in full force and we all got eaten, even with bug spray. The lake was pretty and the wildflowers were amazing, but not sure if I’ll do this one again until the seasons change and it’s a big cooler.

We took the right trail with the stairs and didn’t realize this was NOT the waterfall trail. The waterfall trail is to your left and through some brush. Since we ended up hiking 1.6 miles up the trail, we didn’t have time to actually see the waterfall. I will definitely be back. The trail offered lots of shade, but there were bugs, so bring bug spray!

Two words: Bug Spray! There were also a ton of flies. But despite that, this hike was incredible! My 5 & 3 year old did so well and loved every second! We hiked on July 6, and it didn’t feel too hot since it was shaded 80% of the trial. The water is amazing and the greenery is so lush! I’ve never seen anything like it. We live 1.5 hours away from this trail and we will be going again for sure!!!

Definitely not 1.3 out and back. More like .5 out and back.

This trail follows the Provo River Parkway Trail. It was so quick to The Falls, we actually kept walking thinking you can get closer to it. We turned back and spent time in the pool area at the bottom. The water was shallow in some parts at the bottom, so my not so loving water baby could walk on the rocks, but not get too wet.

Nice for a fun cool off time during the summer, but really easy so it was packed with people.

    Would do it again!

Good, shady, short hike to the water fall.

The waterfall was neat, but the boulders were a little too big for my kiddos 5 & 3. The boulders also went down the side of the mountain pretty steep.

There was an INSANE amounts of kids (mainly older) pushing their way around. The topper was the graffiti all over! We maybe stayed 15 minutes before leaving.

Quick walk on paved road. Super easy for the littlest littles, but the walk down to the dripping rock was pretty steep.

We went mainly to play in the water. Our friends wore swimsuits and brought towels, and I may do that next so kids can have more fun. The river was deep in parts, so my 3 year old couldn’t really walk the water without help. Definitely worth it on a way hot day.

Also, wear shoes since the river bottom is way rocky. Pretty cool outing, but not sure if I would drive 45 minutes to do it again.

The waterfall is insanely amazing and breathtaking. Worth every difficult step (especially the last part).
I was planning on 4.4, but somehow ended up with 6 miles round trip. I’m not sure if there’s an entrance that I missed at a different spot. Six miles made it quite long, and we had kids with us. We got so far committed, we couldn’t turn back, but t proved to be difficult with young ones.
    Definitely worth it!!
