Beautiful hike. One of my favorites that we did when visiting the Tetons. Started around 8am and were able to find plenty of parking at the trailhead. We mostly stayed on this trail, except took a short detour toward cascade canyon trail for a bit before descending back down toward inspiration point. This hike offered gorgeous views of the lake and surround. Even though this was listed as being moderately trafficked, we didn’t see anyone until we reached cascade canyon trail. Plenty of shade throughout the hike.

Good easy hike close to the city. Great for bringing people who may be from out of town and need an easier hike that still offers pretty views along with checking out the amphitheater. Only downside of this trail is that there is zero shade, so bring plenty of water and sunscreen. Otherwise, a nice trail.

Amazing! We parked at glacier gorge and made an afternoon out of the series surrounding trails. First we headed to Alberta falls, then to bear lake, and then up to dream lake. You’ll pass by nymph lake on the way up, which provides a nice rest stop and views. Easy-moderate climb, there were some younger kids on this trail as well, but not quite as busy as the falls. The views on the trail were gorgeous and dream lake did not disappoint. Light patches of snow just before you get to the lake, but easy enough to walk through with hiking shoes or sneakers. I’ll definitely come back here and continue on to emerald next time after. **there were mosquitoes here, so bug spray could be helpful**

Pretty lake. Heavily trafficked due to its proximity to the parking lot. We parked at glacier gorge rather than at bear lake and hiked to Alberta falls first, then over to bear lake. From there it is easy to join the trail to nymph lake/dream lake/emerald lake if you want to add another ~ .8-1.8 miles, depending. Bring bug spray if you do decide to continue on, since there are mosquitoes around dream lake. Nicely shaded on a sunnier day. Cooler in the afternoon, so bring an extra layer.

Nice trail that opens to a gorgeous waterfall. Pretty easy, heavier trafficked trail. Even though there were quite a few people and kids up at the top, it was easy to find pockets of solitude. Nicely shaded, so good for a sunnier day. We parked at glacier gorge and hiked to Alberta, and then took the trail to bear lake, and then up to dream lake after. Gorgeous views.
