A great hike with an amazing view. Walking up a creek/spring along a couple points at the beginning of the trail. A solid elevation gain with some roots and mostly leaves and dirt. The view is wonderful! More secluded and not as used. Easy to find. A must!

Super easy, short, flat, hike from the Sugarlands Visitor Center to the waterfall. Small children and the elderly can easily navigate this trail. Follows along a creek with a nice bridge crossover. A nice peaceful waterfall.

Pretty short and relatively easy hike. Starts to the left of the paved path up to Clingman’s Dome. The trail itself goes downward for the majority of the time until Andrew’s Bald, meaning you have to hike back up to the parking lot. Rocky trail with a decent amount of steps and some wood planks to use. Gorgeous less crowded view and pretty area.

Not really a trail. A steep short paved path up to the observation tower. A decent amount of people around and some AT-thru hikers starting in early April. A nice little shop and bathrooms by the large parking lot.

This trail was great! Small little views along the way. Very rocky, muddy, and wet. Shelter along the trail is nice with a source of water. Bit of ice in one spot. Charlies Bunion is beautiful with plenty of rocks to climb on. Solid hike!

Great hike. Not super strenuous but not easy. Small waterfalls along the way and following a river. Gorgeous waterfall and great areas to climb/scramble around on some rocks!

The drive to the trailhead was gorgeous. Be patient because drivers stop or go slow on the one way road. The hike was easy with good portions of up/downs. Rocky and wet. The waterfall is beautiful and powerful. No cell service on trail or in area is a bonus.

Very steep the entire way. Wonderful workout and hike. Super muddy with slight fog and drizzle when I went made it slightly more difficult. Major bummer the last section is still closed due to fire damage.

One of my new favorite trails. Followed a stream at first. The cave and the bluffs are rest cool. Past that the trail becomes narrow and a little more difficult with great cable railings and awesome scenes throughout the entire hike. I hiked in about 6 inches of snow and a bunch of ice end it still was amazing. Slightly dicey at times. Amazing!!! Great workout too with a full pack.

The trail to the falls was paved and super easy. Also crowded. Past the falls is a steeper trail through the woods. In winter you can peak through the trees at the valley below. The top there is NO view and the “tower” is closed. It’s a research ozone tower type deal. Fun, quiet, and peaceful hike. Good moderate level.

Paved easy trail to the waterfalls. The waterfall is cool because there is a pathway in the middle, with some falls above and some falls below. Huge tourist destination and crowded though.

Super easy hike. Great for kids or elderly. Fun creeks in the area. “Bob’s house” along the loop reminds people not to vandalize on National Park property!

Super easy hike. Great way to get from town to the Sugarlands visitor center and Great Smoky Mountain National Park area. Follows a very clear river.

Great registered camping sites and pretty easy hike. Storytellers rock is pretty and a must go. Plenty of roots and rocks for the majority of the trail. Lots of small to medium water sources that cross the trail and can get your feet wet. Love it!

Really gorgeous view at the top. Not too difficult of a trail but slightly steep. Rocks, gravel, dirt, and roots along the way. Rained on us but cleared out once we approached the top with many biting/stinging flies (due to the rain just passing through). Also Dog friendly!

Great hike. Simple 2 miles with a solid steep part and some downed trees on the path. One super small creek crossing and not much view. A good little exercise. Overall park is great and by a river with great picnic areas.

Wonderful hike with great swimming and climbing spots everywhere with pretty flowers in the spring. Hike down is easy, but back up can be hard. Beautiful spot with a little view as well early on. Saw a couple of snakes, bees, birds, squirrels, crawfish, fish, and chipmunks.

Great trail. Can be somewhat difficult. The views and experience are totally worth it.

Nicely maintained trail. 1.9 miles to the top of a 5520 foot view on north side and south side. I like the south side view better (plus a good sunset spot). The trail can get a little steep and is mostly gravel to some larger rocks. Beautiful vegetation and flowers.

Fairly easy and you'll probably run into someone every now and then. Great little eno spots and other places to hang out. Very safe. Good exercise for you, the kids, and the pets!

Great loop with small view area and plenty of rocks to climb. Trail easily marked and goes through a campground (decent camp spot too) and the trail is not difficult. I would say a moderate rating personally.

I love this place. Great 4.9 mile loop not too challenging at all. Small little view area, plenty of rocks to climb along the trail as well as at the actual falls, fun to swim and explore, plus a great park that you can throw frisbee or cookout at!

Obviously the classic view that many Boone and App State people go to. Very short and easy hike. Fairly easy and not a lot but it is on the parkway with plenty of other areas to explore

Love this place! Great views, cables and numerous ladders to utilize, ridge line hiking, plenty of places to explore! Lots of people near the swinging bridge side. Hard part is the chute and be careful when it's windy!

Pretty great hike going uphill. Gets steep eventually with a bunch of rocks to hike up. Clearly marked and nice little spring towards the top. Good exercise on the legs and we did it in a little over three hours.
