This is a very demanding hike, you have to be able to climb on rocks, sometimes big steps are necessary. Do not start in rainy conditions. The view is amazing. Some hidden places on top to enjoy the view, some lunch/drink...

The views of this track at amazing! The way to the cape and also from cape and blade it self. I did the 4 day/3 nights Version with the new very comfortable eco-huts. These are really outstanding!! What I didn‘t like was the, maybe too well, preparation of the track. Too many boardwalks! Leave your poles at home.
The hike it self is NOT demanding, moderate ascents, no problems with the path conditions, very easy to walk. Take something for barbecue the first night, huge gas grill!
I can recommend the three Capes Track experience (500 Dollar) if you would like to enjoy the luxury huts, friendly host rangers, etc. For more individualistic hikers I would suggest to take a tent and do the track with a night camping on bare knoll (new camp spot). Worth to experience sun set and sun rise on the cape tho!

Did a half round: took the bus from hobart city, startet at Fern Tree, with blade Track to Springs carpark. From there it was the pinnacle way and Zig-Zag way to the summit. It took approx. 2hrs. For way down we continued the pinnacle road for a bit, took the panorama track down, it joins the organ pipe track, again further down on pinnacle road. Later we took the swanmill track (higher and lower part), passed the Sphinx lookout (very nice views and maybe you can see rock climbers here. At the end of lower swanmill track (be aware of a lot downhill walking

Most beautiful trail along the tsitsikamma coast! Able to see lots of wild animals ( otters ! , dolphins, birds,...). Hiking day 4 was really hard, with several river crossings, but definitely worth it! In summer take your swim clothes as you can go into the ocean in every beach! Accept a bit more weight of your backpack for the first night (the track is really short) and enjoy a nice evening dinner and drinks At the first huts!
