Kori Beyer reviewed Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDNST) Loop

I finished this in 13 hours starting and ending at N Inlet Trailhead, going counter clockwise. I started at 430 and still got a few storms above treeline. Only about ten people all day on a weekday. I wish I had brought a beany as it's getting chilly at the top, even with a strong late wildflower season.
Tips: currently there are still strong creeks above 12,000ft and much more water than the maps would indicate.
The mosquitos are plentiful in the Big Meadows area.
The section above treeline has no cover and takes many gorgeous hours to cross, so being mindful of storms and your tolerance for altitude, cold, and sun.
The trail is well maintained and really easy to follow. None of the grade are that steep or slippery, just long.

Kori Beyer reviewed Conundrum Creek Trail to Conundrum Hot Springs

    ***no glass***
    ***pack out your poop***

Stunning hike and hot springs, except that we cleaned up and packed out a previous camper's food trash and poop, in addition to our own. The hotsprings was lovely but people brought glass wine bottles and glass pipes. This area is world class! Be a better steward!

We are pretty fit ladies from Denver and we took six hours going up and four coming down. My GPS/Garmin claimed it was 9.8 miles (?!?).

The creek fording was mid-calf/below the knee on June 13-15.

Gorgeous place. I hope people don't ruin it.

I did the 11 mile lollipop shaped version from elephant hill trail head (ask at the visitor center for a map). I did it counter clockwise and was so glad. the 'joint' was amazingly cool and refreshing. I started before 7am and drank all 4L of water I packed. Start early!!
