Love this place, highly recommend. There are ladders to some of the dwellings, so be prepared for that.

It was a nice walk, no shade though. We saw the ruins on the mesa from where we ended up, but the trail was very washed out in spots and we decided to turn back before we reached them.

Not much of a hike....views are nice. Usually pretty busy and parking is limited. Watch for pedestrians crossing the road. I recommend a quick stop if you're passing through!

Interesting and simple trail, good for children. Love seeing the petroglyphs!

Fairly short walk with a great view at the end. Falls were really going this passed weekend, little muddy, though. Pretty good shade. Nice picnic areas and restrooms available at trail head parking lot.

Nice area, a little rocky and very little shade.

Easy walks, great views, and a nice drive to the canyon, and lightly trafficked! Highly recommend! May be difficult for some vehicles to travel if recent rains.

Highly recommend these ruins. The trail is unique and interesting. Pottery can be found on the top of the mesa if you look. Walk is fairly easy with a couple of ladders. I love these historical places! There is a fee, $25 I think it was. There's a kiosk that accepts cards.

These ruins were great. Probably one of the most concentrated areas we've been to for finding pottery pieces. Kick the dirt a bit, and you'll find pottery pieces. There isn't much left of the ruins, but there is a kiva you can go in. The hike to the ruins is fairly short, but a bit treacherous in spots. Good grip shoes are highly recommended. When we were on the top, it was a bit windy. Also, the road to the ruins is dirt and likely difficult to pass if there's been recent rains, but the views are wonderful!

Nice trail with lots of glyphs to see. I really enjoyed this trail and hunting the glyphs. It's a little difficult to stay on the trail because it's so rocky. Little to no shade, so prepare for that. Expect to climb around a bit to see more glyphs, so good shoes are recommended. Nice view from the top. Been here twice and still don't think we've seen all the glyphs.

This trail is the easiest of the Petroglyph National Monument trails. It also has the least amount of glyphs. There was also a lot more people at this location. Nice little walk, though.

This is a trail that's a little difficult to stay on the trail. There are so many glyphs to find you are bound to vear off the trail and still not see everything. Great place to see, though. This was one of the first trails we hit when we moved to New Mexico. Bring lots of water, especially in warmer months. Hats and sunscreen are also highly recommended as there is little to no shade.
