    An easy hike in terms of elevation. Several narrow and soggy parts. Be sure to wear waterproof shoes and long pants, or wait until autumn. Some lovely views of the lake with lily pads in full bloom.

    Love this trail. It's a comfortable ascent with outstanding views from the tower. I prefer taking Slab up to the summit, and then taking the Brownsville trail down, stopping to see the vistas from Brownsville Rock and Castle Rock before cutting onto Slot.

    A relatively quick hike. Moderate ascent, but evens out. Great spot at the summit for a picnic. Take the Red Pine and Spruce trails back down.
