Nice views of the local area, cool rock. Good little waterfalls. Slippery when wet and crowded.

This place is so weird. Worth the visit, not a real hiking destination.

Breathtaking, stunning, wonderful. Lake 2 is nice if you need to get back. Bring your camera!

Hiked it yesterday. It is an underwhelming maze of unwanted land. I am impressed they got so much trail wiggled into there, a shorter route back to sanity would be more pleasant. The parking lot was the nicest part. Now, it must be noted, it is nice there is a trail accessible in the area.

Love this area. In the summer, they have stunning flowers, wonderful views, interesting hikes and climbs. Nothing too hard, but a lovely local outing.

This is a great quick day hike. The trail isn’t long. I made it up and down in under an hour even with the ice. Went 1/21/18. Most of the snow is gone however there’s ice on the top part of the trail. Last 1/5 of the trail is pretty steep. Go left at the top for an amazing view of the gorge and table rock. Go right for a 360 view! Awesome picnic location.

This is the perfect thanksgiving day walk location it's easy and along the lake. If you're looking for a local place to get outside this is nice but it is not a great hiking place. Very popular. Not challenging. gravel paths

The view is super pretty. Did not like that to complete the loop you have to walk on the road. Few cool ladders for climbing access.

Pretty steep area at the top of the 800 steps is more interesting than everything at the bottom. The bottoms all fenced off.

There are two trails. Both go through the biggest gate from the parking lot then take your first right after a quarter mile where the sign says "trail". After the descent into the canyon there is a T bone intersection. Left is overgrown and will create a 3 mile loop that meets up with the fire road. Right is a 5 mile out and back to some point and better groomed. Poison oak is abundant.

I personally prefer just driving Lyons valley road than this trail but glad to experience it.

For easiest day just do the fire road.
