What a beautiful hike! Stretches with shade, and great views of the red rock, city, and other side of the mountain. I bet this one is great in the fall for views of the changing leaves. We'll be coming back to Roxborough soon. $7 for state park entry is well worth it.

Had a wonderful time on this hike. We took Turkey Trot up and Castle trail on the way down. If you're a hiker, I highly recommend Turkey Trot to avoid the bikes. Head out early, the parking gets a little rough come afternoon.

Great views of Boulder at the top. It's a pretty short hike if you just do the out and back, but it's steep, so you still get a great workout. Great go to for a quick hike. Go early, it gets crowded.

It was the perfect hike for seeing the changing leaves. Many of the Aspens were a gorgeous yellow. We took the Mule Deer trail to the Panama point parking lot which has a nice viewing deck. We would have done the full loop, but the Broncos played at 2. Nice for families with small kids.

Great views, nice terrain, and diverse scenery. The park was crowded, but it was a Saturday, so to be expected. Not as many people on the trail as we thought just looking at the parking lots. Try to park in the upper lot near the visitors center for the easiest access to the trailhead, or you'll find yourself walking for a while on the road, which is what we did.

We really enjoyed this hike despite the mountain bikes. We saw 3 deer in a beautiful setting. There's a lot of trail choice, and we took several trails to create a huge loop for ourselves, felt like we got to see many different environments. Fun time!

Fun little hike. It was a little busy, but only other hikers on the trail, no bikes. It's rocky on the loop, but not too difficult. Not for small kids though. Great views on both sides of the mountain. We enjoyed ourselves.

The view at the top and of the flatirons is great. Fun hike. The cave was closed when we got there, but you have to climb to the top and we had our toddler in a pack, so no use to us anyway. A little busy for our taste, but no mountain bikes.

We took the Belcher Trail the whole way, and it was tough but worth it. Great views, not too crazy busy, and lots of trail options. I'd really like to come back and do the backpacking/camping options in the White Ranch Open Space. Nice trailhead parking lot, make sure to grab a map.

We took the Ranch View Trail to Evergreen Mountain East Trail and followed that to the summit. Wonderful views, and easy hike. We looped on the way down by taking Evergreen Mnt. West down. Good choice--great little valley walk near the end. I'd say West is probably the easier way up, but that makes East faster, so depends on what you like. Take a map at the trailhead.

It's a nice little hike. Really flat wide terrain, a lot of the trail follows pretty close to a road, and it feels like you're in a neighborhood for part of it. If you're looking for something secluded, this isn't your trail. It has some nice rock formations to see, and a little reservoir along one of the trails. Lots of signage and maps. Would be an easy trail for kids.

Wonderful views and it's nice that it's a loop. We veered to the left on the way up and realized on the way down we'd chosen the harder way to the top. The right side of the loop is more switchbacks and not as much of a constant incline. Taking the longer outer trail was a good idea, the viewpoints are worth it.

What an awesome hike! Definitely recommend this to anyone in the Durango area. Gorgeous views, and if you leave early enough you're alone on the trail.

Not the best hike. It was crowded, and more difficult than we thought because if you want to actually see the falls you need do a bit of climbing. Not a lot of reward for the work. It had a few redeeming qualities, the little creeks you pass are nice. Certainly not my favorite.
