I would certainly recommend this trail. It is quite a bit longer than stated. It winds through a canyon and you cross the river many times. The end is stunning with an arched amphitheater embedded in the canyon. Steep steps going down and back but well worth it.

Absolutely beautiful. At the top is a nice trail to an Overlook. And you can see all of the Kolob Fingers and Horse Canyon on the opposite side. In addition on your way up are two different trailheads, Lee and Taylor Creek.

This is a great area to visit. I have a Jeep so I drove and then hiked around the old cemetery and old town. It is an easy hike. Some paved and some dirt roads. This would be a perfect hike and adventure for a family with kids. Lots to explore.

Absolutely amazing. Is it expensive, yes. Is it overcrowded, yes. But, they had to do this because do many people had started coming to visit and were destroying the canyon. It is a must see and one of a kind, but be respectful.

It is absolutely stunning; however, too many people. They will one day need to only allow a group st a time in and limit the number per day. No one stays on the trails and this area rocks and all will be destroyed by the thousands of people visiting this area each day. What a shame to see all the cigarette butts and garbage on the grounds.

Beautiful day for a nice moderate hike along Taylor Creek to the Double Caved Arch. You pass two 1930’s cabins and cross the creek at least ten or more times. The videos were gorgeous and you could always hear the sound of the creek running as you hiked.

The petroglyphs were amazing. Be sure to take your time and really search for them as they are tucked into the rocks everywhere. It is interesting to read about them and then imagine what the ancient ones were saying. Very easy and family friendly. Be careful though you are standing right next to the road.

So many found this site unremarkable, but I found all the rock formations and history quite amazing. If you are in a hurry and not looking closely you might miss the dinosaur footprints in the rocks. They are raised and on some you can not see all the toes. Great for kids and family.

Perfect day for this spectacular hike. I veered off trail to the left st the beginning and found some beautiful wildflowers in bloom. The canyon walls were stunning and the water was above my boots when walking through the creek.

What a great hike. We explored off the main trail quite a bit. In a higher cave there are some nice petroglyphs. The old cottonwood trunk is a photographers dream. Made it to the ropes and climbed above the waterfall. Beyond that walked until the slot narrowed and we would have had to walk through some pretty cold water. Coming back and down the waterfall using the ropes was a bit more of a challenge. But even with my short legs made it down with no problems at least once I got the courage.

This is a great trail for all levels. There is one ladder to climb up to a higher elevation and avoid walking the river. We only went to the point where we would have had to cross the river and turned back about 4 miles round trip. The water was flowing quite fast due to the Spring runoff.

I go there frequently and no matter the time of day I always see wildlife. It is shaded so perfect for hot days.
